None of us become famous while we are alive… very few of us become famous after we die. It matters not, just continue to do what you love, even if you can only do it in your spare time. Continue to write, continue to paint, continue to take photos… travel when you can, slow down and see everything aro und you.

I went to the bar and we all shared songs on the jukebox, had a chat, laughed, and genuinely enjoyed the day. Yes, we are appalled by the renaming of a lake, but we understand that is just a weak leader trying to make a ripple in the water as he slowly drowns. What amazes us is how there are still people who even want that side to win the midterms, or any election, why? What is being offered? Is there anything being said or done or promised that will help the people of America? Is there any policy being promoted to try to win an election? There is nothing There is just diversion and interference. It is absolutely shockingly pathetic.

Winston Churchill weekend continues. How else does one survive the nonsense that is being spouted by so many? The soccer is a mixture of tragic and great. The bar is visited by bicycle because it is still just so extremely hot with no relent. No wind, no rain, just exhaustive heat. The government would issue a warning but they don’t understand drought and, even if they did, they know that no one in Texas would pay any attention anyway because they are MAGA and natural resources are eternal and free to them.

It’s not just about your gas and groceries… it is about international relationships, it is about the ‘department of war’ led by a drunken ‘jock.’ It is about the health services being led by an anti-vaccine moron who has no interest in science or reality.

Thank goodness for punk rock. It has been with me for all of my life and makes me realise that I am not alone. It also make me realize that we have always had really bad leaders… but, as a consolation, good music comes of that. I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by this current administration, but I think it will fuel punk and raise awareness.
